Craig Quintero
As the Artistic Director of the Taipei-based Riverbed Theatre Company, Craig has written and directed over fifty original image-based performances including productions at the Taiwan National Theatre, National Taichung Theater, Asia Culture Center (Korea), Esplanade Studio Theatre (Singapore), KAVC (Japan), and Theatre Mouffetard (France). He is also a sculptor and installation artist whose work has been exhibited at Taipei MOCA, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Shanghai MOCA, Taiwan National Museum of Arts, and the Venice Biennale Collateral Events. His VR works premiered at the Venice Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival and have won the Best Immersive Experience Award at the Luxembourg City Film Festival, the Panorama Prize at the Festival du Nouveau Cinema, and the Best VR 360 Award at the Kaohsiung Film Festival. Craig is former Senior Fulbright Scholar and is currently a Professor in the Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies at Grinnell College.
Rafeeq Ellias
Rafeeq Ellias is a photographer and filmmaker who lived and worked in Japan for several years. He has over 40 awards to his credit, including an Emmy Award for a series of UNICEF TV commercials as well as two National Awards and an Asian Broadcast Award for his BBC-documentary, “The Legend of Fat Mama”. As a cinematographer and director he has made several documentaries; two of which focus on the Chinese-Indian community and draw attention to the aftermath of the 1962 India-China war. His other films include one on the Kumbh Mela for Britain’s Channel Four; a film for PSBT on Mumbai as a film city; two films for Microsoft on India’s unique ability to create software engineers; “What Man, Joe”, a warm, human portrait of a funeral musician and a tribute to a musically-talented community, which won a best film award in Kerala. His most recent film, "If Memory Serves Me Right" has been screened in nine festivals around the world and won "Best Cinematography Award" at MIFF 2022 and the "Satyajit Ray Gold Award" at SASFF 2022 in Kolkata. Four of his films have been screened at the Chiayi International Art Doc Festival including a global premiere.
Måns Berthas
Måns Berthas (born 1978) is a director, screenwriter and director of photography. He has worked in the film industry for almost twenty years and has directed both documentary and fiction. Måns is a trained screenwriter at Alma Manusutbildning in film and drama series. His short film "Champion" (2015) was the first film to be picked up by the Italian sales company Lights On. Both "Champion" and his other films have been shown at a total of over 200 international film festivals. Måns has worked around the globe and his films have received more than 30 international awards.
Tereza Vejvodová
Tereza Vejvodová is an independent filmmaker and audiovisual artist based in Prague. After graduating from FAMU (Film Directory), she continues to discover new blends of narrative forms across multiple disciplines in contemporary cinema or video installations (National Theatre Prague, Signal Festival). Awarded (Slamdance, Pragueshorts) and shown (Saatchi Gallery London) worldwide, her films like Delimitation, Roselyne or 1+1 are a study of an universal and intuitive approach to communication through the medium involving not only actors but also dancers. Beside directing, she works as an editor, screenwriter and projection artist throughout the film and theatre industry.
Yannick Mosimann
Mosimann's body of work encompasses films, video/audio installations and collaborations with various artists as a filmmaker and musician. His artistic focus lies in intuitive processes, sensorial experiences and the reimagining of narratives. Themes explored in his work include the anthropocene, nature, cosmology, darkness and human perception.
